GSIR-100 Basic Handgun

Class description: If you want to brush up on your basic knowledge, or if you’re looking to learn something new and exciting, this class was made just for you! Our GSIR-100 Basic Handgun is a hands-on class designed to give you the knowledge necessary to safely work the basic functions of modern semi-auto pistols and revolvers. This is an 8-hour class that includes shooting. We also offer 2-day class (4 hours each day).

What you will learn:

  • How to safely handle firearms
  • Fundamentals of basic shooting
  • Responsible firearms ownership
  • General information on safe transportation of firearms
  • Aspects of safe firearms storage and preventing unauthorized access
  • The science and magic behind modern ammunition
  • Firearms nomenclature/different components and what they do

What to bring: Just bring yourself and an eagerness to learn! We provide all safety equipment, firearms, ammunition, and targets.
