TRY BEFORE YOU BUY PROGRAM
To ensure that you make the right purchase, our Try Before You Buy Program allows you to experience a number of firearms as you search for the best handgun, rifle, or shotgun that fits your needs.
How it Works:
You may select from any firearm available for rent. Try as many of any caliber handgun for $20 plus range fees or as many long guns for $30 for any caliber plus range fees.
If you purchase a firearm on the same day we will waive your firearm rentals and lane fees!
Please be aware that our rental firearms go through regular cleaning and maintenance and specific models may not always be available.
YOUTH FIREARMS SAFETY COURSE
Designed to teach children general firearm safety and how to safely operate small-caliber handguns and rifles and utilize them on an indoor range.
Required for minors under 16 to accompany a parent or legal guardian on the range.

What do I need to go shooting?
Just a valid state ID or passport!
I’m a MA resident, do I need an LTC to shoot?
Nope, anyone can come to our facility and shoot!
Can I shoot at GSIR if I’m a tourist visiting the US?
Yes, we love tourists! As long as you have a valid passport with you, you are good to go!
How much is it to shoot at Granite State Indoor Range?
The total cost of your visit will greatly depend on what gear you have but you can get a good idea here.
Can I reserve a lane?
Lane reservations are accepted only for our members, and you can do it right here on our website!
Is a membership worth it?
We’ve carefully designed our membership program to have unrivaled value. If you are planning to shoot at the range more than twice a month, it’s the best option! Our members receive guns at cost, free lanes, free course retakes, free guest passes, free rental passes, and a ton more. Learn more here.
Do you have a layaway program?
Absolutely, We do however require a 25% down payment and the balance paid within 90 days.
Can I rent a firearm if I come in alone?
Our suicide prevention policy doesn’t allow us to rent firearms to individuals who are alone and don’t have their own firearm with them.
Make sure to either bring a friend or your own firearm if you plan to rent one of our many firearms.
Are you open on holidays?
We are closed only 3 days out of the year, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Otherwise, we are open and shooting.
RANGE RULES
GOLDEN RULE: TREAT EVERY FIREARM AS IF IT IS LOADED
All firearms, when carried anywhere in this facility, must be cased and unloaded (EXCEPTION: law enforcement and concealed carry licensees)
RANGE RULES
- Always point the muzzle in a safe direction.
- Know how the firearm operates. If unsure, just ask!
- Know that the firearm and the ammunition are compatible. If unsure, just ask!
- Hearing and eye protection are required at all times.
- Use of alcoholic beverages or drugs prior to, or during, shooting is prohibited.
- Keep your firearm unloaded until at your shooting station and ready to shoot.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until on target and ready to fire.
- Only lead core bullets are permitted on the range. No steel core, incendiary, tracer, exploding, or tipped ammo of any kind is permitted on the premises.
- You will be fined for hitting anything other than the paper target.
- Only four people are permitted per shooting station.
- Never move forward of the firing line.
- Rapid fire is prohibited unless approved in advance by the RSO.
- Food, drink, or tobacco products are not permitted on the range.
- Open-toed shoes and low-cut tops are prohibited on the range for the safety of all guests (Spent casings are hot!).
